Skippy was a rescue pet. His original owners were verbally abusive towards him. The people nextdoor were upset by this so they approached the people and said they'd take him. To this they replied GIVE US $500 and you can have him. Well, they had a better plan. The next time Skippy got out of the yard, they called the pound. They went to the pound and said that they wanted to adopt the dog once it had been officially through the system. 2 months after they had him, the woman became very ill and could no longer care for him. Our son had just been bitten by a dog WE adopted from the pound. We needed some healing. A prayer request I made with my church was answered when the lady with Skippy heard about my son. He's been with us ever since.
